Wheel powder coating

Finish the wheels as part of the whole car. Compare the color, sheen and condition of the wheel before deciding on a refinishing plan.

Inspect before choosing a color

Curb rash, corrosion, previous repairs and cracks affect what work is appropriate. Cosmetic refinishing is different from a structural repair. Tell the shop about vibration or damage rather than assuming a new finish resolves it.

Bring a photo of the car and inspect physical samples against the bodywork. Black, silver and other finishes can look very different under workshop lights and direct sun.

Define the complete job

Ask who handles tire removal and refitting, balancing, sensors, caps and any separate repairs. The quote should identify preparation and what happens to mating surfaces, bolt seats and other functional areas.

Confirm whether the car must stay with the shop, whether a separate wheel set is needed and when collection is expected. Availability depends on the actual scope and wheel condition.

Care after collection

Follow the coating and wheel-care instructions provided at handover. Use suitable cleaners and raise any finish or fitment concern promptly. An aggressive cleaner can be a poor match even for a newly refinished wheel.
