Ceramic coatings

A cleaner surface starts before the coating goes on. Ceramic coating is a surface treatment chosen alongside preparation and an ongoing wash routine.

Preparation sets the result

Inspect the paint in good light and talk about contamination, water spots, swirls and previous work. Washing, decontamination and any polishing have different jobs; the quote should explain which are included.

A coating does not fill deep scratches or replace paint correction. Agree on the level of improvement you want and which imperfections will remain before the work begins.

Understand what is being applied

Ask for the exact product, intended surfaces and maintenance instructions. Paint, wheels, glass and trim may need different products; a single label does not make every treatment interchangeable.

Hydrophobic behavior can make routine cleaning easier, but it does not prevent every stain, chip or scratch. PPF supplies a different kind of physical protection. Discuss the two together if you want a combined plan.

Keep a realistic care routine

Confirm the curing period and first-wash timing. Use the recommended wash products, avoid neglecting contamination, and ask what inspections or top-ups are advised for the chosen coating.
