Paint protection film

Protect the areas that take the miles. Paint protection film is a physical film applied to selected painted surfaces, with coverage chosen around the vehicle and how you drive.

Put coverage where it helps

A front-end plan may cover the bumper, hood, front fenders and mirrors. Broader plans can include rocker panels, rear impact areas, door cups or the whole body. Ask for a panel-by-panel list rather than relying on a package name.

Highway commuting, road trips and the shape of the car influence which areas collect wear. A low bumper and wide rear arches may deserve a different scope from a city-driven sedan.

Agree on the visible details

Inspect paint condition first. Existing chips will not disappear under film, and previous paintwork may need a different approach. Discuss seams, exposed edges, badges, sensors and the difference between precut patterns and any custom trimming.

Confirm the exact film and finish. Any self-healing, stain-resistance or warranty terms belong to that specific product and installation; they should be documented rather than assumed. No film makes a vehicle immune to damage.

Keep the finish working

Follow the shop’s collection, curing and wash guidance. Remove contaminants using the product’s approved method, check lifting edges early, and ask about compatible coatings before applying extra products.
