Keeping a wrap looking right

The right wash routine is part of the finish. Use the instructions for the installed material as your starting point.

Wash with the material in mind

Use a wash method and products approved for the actual film. Matte, satin, textured and glossy surfaces may not respond to the same polish or wax. Test unfamiliar products as directed and avoid abrasive treatment.

Keep an eye on edges

Avoid directing concentrated pressure at film edges. Remove contaminants promptly using an approved method, and ask the shop about any lifting, unusual discoloration or stubborn stains.

Plan for sun and age

Storage, exposure and maintenance affect appearance and service life. Keep the product record, inspect exposed horizontal panels and discuss removal or replacement when the material’s condition calls for it.
