Compare the complete glass
Factory glass already has its own properties. Ask how the proposed film changes the combined visible light transmission and which measurements apply to the actual product.
Think beyond midday
Discuss nighttime driving, reversing, passengers and the road conditions you use most. Ask to see a sample in different lighting and confirm the legal scope for each window under current local rules.
Know the handover rules
Ask when windows can be lowered, how the film should dry and how to clean it. Follow the installer’s product-specific guidance, and contact them if you see persistent lifting or other problems.
